60th International Conference on the Bioscience of Lipids (ICBL), Tokyo, Japan

Inês Simões (ESR1) NENCKI (Poland) and her supervisor Dr. Mariusz Wieckowski have been participating at the 60th International Conference on the Bioscience of Lipids (ICBL) – Biology of LipoQuality, The importance of Lipid Quality (LipoQuality) in biological systems, that was held in Hitotsubashi-Hall, Tokyo, Japan from 17th to 21st of June 2019.

Ines poster presentation was entitled – “A link between mitochondria lipid composition and its compromised function during the development in Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease”. She presented her most recent data about hepatic steatosis and the influence of lipidic composition of plasma cellular membrane and mitochondrial membranes in the function of hepatocytes and mitochondria, respectively.
