ESR 3: Interplay between sulfide metabolism, mitochondria and NAFLD

Project Summary

A key objective of the FOIE GRAS network is to better understand the metabolic mechanisms and treatment behind. This project will address the pathophysiological role of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and its metabolism in the context of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD).

Research will include methodologies and techniques ranging from basic mitochondrial bioenergetics analysis to gene expression analysis and animal models of NAFLD.
