ESR 13: “From the bench to the zeitgeist”

Project Summary

A key objective of the FOIE GRAS network is to develop and implement strategic communication for addressing Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease awareness, “From the bench to the zeitgeist”, particularly from the production of animation and comics.

This project will focus on the development and qualitatively and quantitatively test strategic communication and educational activities addressing Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) awareness to different types of audiences (clinicians, patients, patient groups, students, general public), with production of graphic media (pamphlets, comics and animation), similar to the science and art collaborations done in the past, e.g. A Stem Cell Adventure, in conjunction with appropriate analysis tools (focus groups, questionnaires, etc.) (Amaral et al. 2015), related to a Public Outreach Programme.
