From 3 to 5 October 2018, our researchers promoted a “hands-on activity” at a Science Fair. This event brought together researchers from different centers and scientific areas from all Portugal.
At the public outreach event, many primary school students and the general public had a chance to learn about healthy diet to prevent #NAFLD playing an interactive game “Gordurometro”, designed by Mireia Alemany Pagès, (ESR-13), a Science Communication PhD student.
On 5 October at the Science Fair, there was a panel discussion “Talk about Science”, where invited lecturers were Dr. Helena Freitas, Dr. Vânia Calisto, Dr. Francisco Corte Real and Dr. Paulo Oliveira (CNC UC).
