Inês Mateus – (ESR3) did secondment at (HMGU) under the guidance of her supervisor Hans Zischka. The goal of her three months long secondment was to do investigations in vitro, using a liver cell line to test whether the expression of SOU (Sulfide Oxidation Unit) can be modulated by different nutritional and hormonal conditions. During that time she received training on different cell culture, enzymatic assays and proteomic sample-preparation.
