Mireia Alemany Pagès (ESR13) together with representatives from CNC UC Science Communication office) and Biocas Centro Ciência Júnior at Biocant, organized a public outreach event with the senior citizens at Centro de Convivio at Outil, Coimbra, Portugal.
The senior citizens had an opportunity to learn more about the Project FOIE GRAS and Project RISE FOIE GRAS. Through an interactive game, discussion, promotional materials (flyers) and implementing specially designed questionnaires they got informed about the NAFLD disease, its consequences and how to prevent it.
