Project FOIE GRAS and the Center for Neuroscience and cell Biology, University of Coimbra, associate with Coimbra Gym Fest 2021/Trampolim World Cup 2021, which was held at Centro de Alto Rendimento Desportivo
in Sangalhos, Anadia, Portugal, between 25-27 June 2021. This dual event brought to Coimbra some top nacional and international tumbling and trampoline gymnasts, some of whom will be present at the Olympic Games. Project FOIE GRAS and the CNC distributed the book “A Healthy Liver Will Always Deliver!” from Mireia Pages (ESR13), João
Ramalho-Santos and Anabela Azul among the 450 gymnasts, officials and judges.
The content of the book is very beneficial, especially for the youngest gymnasts, who are now learning good lifestyle choices. The book was also distributed among some of the volunteers in the event.
Many delegations were very pleased for receiving this gift, which was used to spend the free time between the competitions. The Coordinator of the Project, Dr. Paulo Oliveira, was also part of the Local Organizing Commitee.
